A platform serving workshops and
lectures on Food Design
Foodplat(e)form is a platform that hosts workshops and lectures that were organized by Parel in the topic of food design in 2019. Originally founded for the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. The first event was an introduction lecture with guest speakers like the Creative Chef and Marjolein Wintjes from ‘De culinaire werkplaats’. The second event was a ‘make cutlery’ workshop with Steinbeisser.
We are organizing a Food Plat(e)form and you are invited.
Why do we need this?
Food is universal, it brings people together.
When we meet, we meet at the canteen.
We don’t only have to please the sight but also the taste, smell and touch.
Food is about exalting the sense, spice up the meaning of design.
Participation without commitment. Become informed and experiment.
