The cooking process of the tableware
For my internship with the designer Jennifer de Jonge, I designed the presentation of her tableware, which was on show in her overview exhibition called Grondstoffen (April 2019) in Zeeland, Axel.
The designed tableware is in a dinner setting, on a glass structure. The creation process is visualised in the exhibition in the format of a written recipe, which includes the raw materials to create the tableware and its chemical components.
The shadows of the tableware form the traces to follow the different recipes and ingredients needed to create the tableware.
The guests are opposite each other as if they were dining together, but instead of actual food, they would get served the knowledge of creating the dishes.
