Taxi Travis is taxi service run by Charlois residents that takes visitors through the neighbourhood. Taxi Travis drivers are more than drivers, they are guides and conversation partners who share their personal stories and perspectives on Charlois.
 

The Taxi runs during Het Zuid Manifest: Carola Loves Carlos a local art festival organized by RIB. The waiting point is the taxi stand at Karel de Stouteplein, a driver will take you to one of the festival’s exhibition locations of Het Zuid Manifest – you can choose which one.

 

Every ride is a different journey. You can book a (free) ride in advance or hop in spontaneously at the stand.

Taxi Travis will be driving again during 13 till 16 May 2027.

Taxi Travis exists fully thanks to the participation and input of residents. Do you have a car, or would you like to drive? Send an email to taxi.travis010@gmail.com. Your gas costs will be covered and you will receive a small volunteer fee.
