Soep-port
A monthly social gathering project
with personal questions and soup.

At Dokhuis, on the edge of the harbor in Oud-Charlois (Rotterdam), we gather for Soep-port. This is your chance to engage in conversation with your (un)familiar neighbors while enjoying a delicious bowl of soup. During each session, led by Parel Strik and Noemi Bardas, we delve into personal questions and dilemmas. The aim of Soep-port is not to find a solution to your issues, but to share different perspectives and together discover what you and others have to say. We focus on open-hearted conversations and the exchange of ideas, rather than finding answers or solutions.

The new season of Soup-port has started, the upcoming Soep-port is on the question: How are you going to change the world for generations to come?
For the first Soep-port season there were six sessions funded by Opzoomermee in collaboration with Dokhuis. The first Soep-port session was on September 10th with the question:
How can old and new neighbors connect (better) and continue to meet?
The second Soep-port session was with the question:
How can we ask questions without unintentionally imposing expectations?
The third session was about: When does something become waste to you?
The fourth Soep-port: How can we foster a sense of (deep) connection within a community, with attention to the role of inclusivity?
The fifth Soep-port was about 'What drives you in life?'
The sixth Soep-port was about 'How do you understand your own mind?'
Soep-port is in collaboration with Noemi Bardas and Dokhuis and funded by Opzoomermee and Loket D from Vfonds.
